Going to the Chapel and We’re Gonna Get Married … In Vegas!
A bicoastal couple yes we are
After five years, we have come so far
With Chris off to Afghanistan for seven months
Elizabeth refused to be by herself, alone in the Stumps
By now, everyone has heard the story
Chris got down on one knee in all of his glory
With Tiffany burning a hole on Elizabeth’s left finger
We decided, what the heck, no need to linger
On Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at 8:00pm
We’re heading to Vegas and not on a whim
Although it will be just the two of us
Having all friends and family there is a MUST
How will I get to Vegas you ask?
Having a website to view, makes it a simple task
Although, we will have officially tied the knot
Having a fabulous celebration has not gone to pot
Pencil in March 19, 2011
A renewal of our vows will take place President’s Day Weekend
We are thankful and blessed to have you with us on our special days
To say how much we appreciate you, there is not enough praise.
Thank you for being a part of this special time in our lives!
Much Love,
Elizabeth and Chris

What the Heck Did I just Read aka Frequently Asked Questions
• We are getting married in Vegas tomorrow, Tuesday, March 16.
• You can view our ceremony online at 8:00pm Vegas time (10:00pm CST, 11:00pm EST). Website: http://www.littlechapel.com/
Once you get to the main webpage click guests (right corner) – Chris Parks and Elizabeth Courtman should be at the top of the list. If we are not, you can search for either of our names and we will come up.
(Viewing will be available for one week)
• It’s very important to us that we have a celebration with our friends and family. There WILL BE a vow renewal complete with white dress, wedding party, Marines in uniforms (with swords) a great reception/party, dancing, etc.
• Pencil in March 19, 2011 (President’s Day Weekend). We still don’t know where Chris will be stationed once he gets back from Afghanistan (hopefully DC area) so the vow renewal date could change depending on that, hence the “pencil in.”
You finally made it... blog world and married life. Welcome to the next biggest addiction of your life (blogging that is). I am so happy for you both and look forward on getting updates about Chris. Love you, mean it!
ReplyDeleteHi Elizabeth~ i'm a friend of your Dad and he sent me your blog address. Welcome to the blogging world--but most importantly, congratulations on your wedding--how very exciting for you both! Love seeing photos from "my" city here. Thanks to your husband for his service to our country, and to YOU for being part of it. The spouses left behind to take care of things here are so important as well! I always enjoy checking out other blogs in all my "free" time. I would love to be a follower of your blog...
ReplyDeleteWhen you get a chance check out my blog as well. Perhaps not as interesting as yours as it deals mainly with photography stuff and life with our kid, but it is fun for everyone to have followers! I don't keep it totally up-to-date, but would still love to have an additional blog-following friend! :) Looking forward to hearing about your new life together :)
